Heat Detectors
OUR HEAT DETECTORS WILL NOT ACTIVATE
FROM COOKING
THERE ARE THREE BASIC TYPES OF HEAT
DETECTORS:
The First: and Least
Expensive is The "IONIZATION" Type Smoke Detector.
This is The one That you May have purchased at Your
Hardware Store, for About $10.00. You simply Put a Nine Volt Battery
into it and Hang it on The Wall or Ceiling.
But Every Time You Cook in Your Kitchen it goes off and
You End Up Faning it With a Magazine and After That Doesn't Work You
Just Take The Battery Out of it.
Even if They Did Work Properly They Do Not Call The
FireDept..... Our Rating For
Them....CRAP
The Second: is
The"PHOTOELECTRIC" Type Heat detector.
This is The One That Those "Other Companies" Use,They are
Very Good For Detecting Fire in The Home and Do Not Activate When
Cooking or Smoking and if Connected to a Security System, Will Call The
Fire Dept. But, They Do Activate From Dust Accumulating Inside Them and
There is Nothing You Can Do About That.
Every Home Has a Certain Amount of Dust, But The Heat
Detectors are Stupid They Can't Tell You When They Need to Be Cleaned,
So not only are You Standing Under it Waving a magizine at it Trying to
Make it Stop, You Have The Fire Dept Rushing to Your Home for Nothing.
(and by the way, they love that) Our Rating For
Them......YOU TELL ME
The Third is Ours: Dust
Buildup in Heat Detectors Cause OverSensitivity. And That Leads to False
Alarms.
Thats Why We Offer "THE SMART
SERIES" Heat Detector.
The Only Heat Detector That Has The "CleanMe" Feature A Self-Diagnostic Feature
That Signals The Master Control Panel When The Detector Needs to be
Cleaned. It Also Reports Sensitivity.
The Result: a Safer and More Efficient Heat Detector With Fewer False
Alarms.
Because it Has a Built-in Drift Compensation Feature That
Automatically Adjusts Sensitivity to Dust Buildup it Goes Longer
Between Cleanings...... Our
Rating.... SUPERIOR
